Alaska RR main Fairbanks to Anchorage passenger train was unnamed on my June '94 visit and is shown southbound near Eklutna.
3012 has the fair train on the drawbars as it cruises north to Palmer just a few miles ahead with a train full of people from Anchorage going to the State Fair.
Running right on time the Denali Star cruises south through north Eklutna, and will arrive into Anchorage in about 45 minutes.
